Growing Instructions
Starting your seeds
You can start seeds indoors using a heat mat. Once the seedlings sprout, move them outdoors. Keep the soil moist and provide 4–6 hours of sunlight daily. When direct sowing radish seeds, plant them about 1/2 inch deep in well-drained, loose soil, spacing them 3–6 inches apart.
Harvesting your seeds
When harvesting radishes, wait until they have reached the desired size, typically around 1 to 2 inches in diameter for most varieties. Gently loosen the soil around the radish with your hands or a garden fork to ease its removal. Grasp the radish near the base and pull it gently upward while twisting to loosen it from the soil. Alternatively, use a garden trowel to carefully lift the radish from the ground. Trim any roots and damaged foliage, leaving only the clean, firm radish bulb.
