Growing Instructions
Starting your seeds
You can start Jack Be Little Pumpkins seeds indoors using a heat mat to encourage germination. Once the seedlings sprout and grow a few sets of leaves, move them outdoors. Keep the soil moist and provide 6–8 hours of sunlight daily. When direct sowing Jack Be Little Pumpkins seeds, plant them about 1 inch deep in well-drained soil, spacing them 24–36 inches apart to give them plenty of space to grow.
Harvesting your seeds
To harvest pumpkins wait until they have reached full maturity, as indicated by their rich color and hard rind. To harvest pumpkins, use pruning shears or a sharp knife to cut the stem, leaving about 3 to 4 inches attached to the pumpkin. This helps preserve the pumpkin's freshness and prevents rot. After harvesting, allow the pumpkins to cure in a warm, dry place for about 10 days to enhance their flavor and improve storage longevity.
